  5.     This disk contains the main AnalytiCalc manual (ANALY.DQC)
  6. in machine readable form. Just print it out for your own copy after unsqueezing.
  7. If someone gives you an unpaid copy of this program, please remember
  8. we made it inexpensive to help users and need some return on our
  9. investment. Please send in the registration fee ($49.00 if you use the
  10. program. We are trying to supply the most powerful software of this type
  11. in the industry to you at a reasonable price. Please don't use it in a
  12. production mode without registering. Do however feel free to give evaluation
  13. copies to anyone.

  15. The disk also contains a handy Desktop Calendar system as a free addition.
  16. This system will allow you to keep a calendar of meetings or your
  17. schedule, using the PC to do it. DTC is NOT part of the AnalytiCalc
  18. package and is here placed in public domain. However, it is useful
  19. and can be used with AnalytiCalc. It is squeezed, so unsqueeze the files
  20. (on another disk!) first before trying to use. See MANUSQ.HLP on how to
  21. unsqueeze files.

  23.     The AnalytiCalc graphics task is on this disk as ACGRAF.EXE
  24. and it may be run to produce graphs from saved AnalytiCalc
  25. spreadsheets according to directions in the manual.

  27.     The DTC (Desktop Calendar) program and a Form 1040 saved
  28. spreadsheet file are furnished in squeezed form here to save space.
  29. The public domain USQ utility will return them to their original
  30. forms.
  31.     Just give the command

  35. where "filename.ext" becomes one of the squeezed files (the "ext" has
  36. Q as the middle letter).
  37.     The USQ program will regenerate the original version. Be sure
  38. there is plenty of room when you unsqueeze.

  40.     A demo piechart program called PIE.BAS is provided to draw
  41. piecharts from saved spreadsheets, on a graphics screen. It requires
  42. BASICA and a color graphics board and is a free extra, not a part
  43. of the vended AnalytiCalc package. It shows the ease of reading saved
  44. files to generate plots. To use it, just save the region of the screen
  45. to piechart (use PDN) and give the filename used to pie.bas. Row or
  46. column titles, if any, will be used as labels (up to 8 chars). Up to
  47. 100 slices may be shown. Enter a real limit of how far over and down
  48. to save to save ONLY the region to chart (i.e., don't just enter 0).
  49.     Another BASIC graphics program is on the kit too. Try it; you'll
  50. like it.

  52.   The Form 1040 files are spread across both distribution disks, again
  53. for space reasons. You load F1040.PCC first (possibly using F1040.CMD to
  54. do it), then use @file.PCC to enter Schedule X or Y, and do Schedule
  55. A, B, and Form 1040 itself. You can create a PRINT.PCC command
  56. file to print it all out. These forms are modified to reflect 1984 tax rates.
  57. To create the PRINT.PCC file, just type a file in containing the
  58. following commands:
